Account Manager (German and French speaking)

Based at our Manufacturing facility in Eythorne near Dover.

40 hour week, Monday to Friday, 0830-1730, £22,000/annum + Bonuses 

Skills 

Native/near native level of German and French

Proven track record of business development or growth within a sales environment - Proven track record of excellent customer service - Ability to work autonomously and motivate yourself as part of a team. - Ability to set targets and forecasting - Ability to understand the environment of manufacturing, sales and distribution, and what is essentially required to support our customers - Ability to introduce new products and extol their values and to back sell to end users through our distribution partners - 

These duties are not an exhaustive list and may encompass any other reasonable duties as defined by a senior manager in line with the job role and environment where necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Summary of the post:

Key account management. To be the first point of contact to our customer base for all inbound queries and enquiries and to support all administrative functions of our customers. 

To support the strategy of the sales team to seek opportunities with current customers, new customers and large end users by proactively creating and following up all calls that lead to opportunities, appointments and quotations.

Responsibilities:
1. Sales orders - Accurately processing Customer purchase orders.

2. Service Administration - All administrative tasks relevant to the role, such as: - Updating/Maintaining Customer price lists - Delivery schedules for customers - Debtor chasing - Stock forecasts

3. Account Management - Proactively target, identify and contact new potential distributors - Proactively target, identify and contact large end users to get them buying from our distributors - Sell new products to existing customers. - Look after current customers, building business plans for growth - Key account management - Build and maintain positive relationships within your market of responsibility. - Initiate and drive sales and business development campaigns to target various customers - Consistently deliver individual pre-determined sales targets on a weekly basis

4. Pricing - Pricing for projects (with support of Sales Manager): utilising Customer price lists/pricing guideline table

5. Manage Consignment stock process - Send consignment reports - Ensure consignment usage is returned from the Customer by the deadline set - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies on usage quantities - Approve consignment usage with Customer prior to invoicing

6. Service issues - Raise claim document to send to Customer - Raise service issue on SAP/M-Files based on completed claim document- Negotiate resolution with the customer

7. Samples - Produce sample requests and provide tracking information to Customer - Follow up with Customer on receipt of sample

8. Colour matches - Produce colour match requests and provide tracking information to Customer - Follow up with Customer on receipt of colour match to confirm approval - Once in receipt of signed colour match - create product code request
