Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that enhance our systems' efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires a strong understanding of various technologies and frameworks, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.This role offers flexibility, and we welcome applications from both permanent candidates and experienced contractors. The successful candidate will also act as a main liaison with external vendors and robotic system suppliers to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient deployment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, installation, and configuration of robotic arm systems on-site for automated picking, lifting, and placement tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system requirements are met.
  • Program, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems to optimise performance.
  • Monitor and maintain robotic equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs related to robotics.
  • Provide training and technical support to staff on robotic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and quality standards during deployment and operation.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in industrial automation or robotics integration.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic arm systems.
  • Knowledge of robotic programming languages and interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, while managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Formal qualification in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience with PLC systems and industrial control.
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Project experience.

Mechanical Engineer & Fabricator - Multipanel UK Ltd

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fabricator with extensive mechanical experience to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual to contribute directly to the manufacturing and assembly of our products. We are looking for someone who excels in practical fabrication techniques, possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will play a crucial role in bringing our designs to life, ensuring the quality and precision of our finished products. This role does not involve design work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Fabricate and assemble mechanical components and assemblies using a variety of techniques.
  • Blueprint Reading & Interpretation: Accurately interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand design specifications and fabrication requirements.
  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Quality Control & Inspection: Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure fabricated parts meet required tolerances and specifications.
  • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve fabrication issues, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and propose solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other fabricators to ensure smooth production flow and effective communication.
  • Material Handling & Preparation: Select and prepare appropriate materials for fabrication projects, ensuring proper storage and handling.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven and extensive hands-on experience as a skilled Fabricator, demonstrating mastery of various fabrication techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining fabrication equipment (list specific equipment).
  • Strong understanding of materials and their properties.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Due to the location, the candidate will need to have their own vehicle (on-site parking available)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £36,476.00-£40,592.00 per year

Additional pay: Bonus scheme

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Overtime

Work Location: In person
