Use a standard guillotine for this purpose. Ensure the top cover sheet is inserted properly.


Use a folding table. Min inside radius r=15 x t (t=panel thickness)


3-Roller panel bender is preferable for bending large internal diameters. Again, ensure the minimum bending radius is adhered to in order to avoid cracking.


Use standard metal and aluminium adhesives. Ensure you avoid contact with the polyethylene centre, some adhesives will attack and decay the core. The use of conventional double faced tapes is acceptable. Panels must be clean and free from grease. The use of temporary fixings such as Velcro are also suitable. The result of laminating Alupanel to other products may result in de-formation of the laminate.


Use a steel band tool on punching base for 2mm and 3mm thickness. Conventional punching machines are excellent for this process.


After cutting and if required, use a file with a rasp effect cut to file roughly cut contours lengthwise.


Fret saw, water torch, profile-milling machine.


Ensure panels are clean and free from grease.


Alupanel can be laminated manually or by machine using cast or calendered self adhesive foil. The quality of varnish ensures it does not come off if the foil is changed. Photographs and images can be applied with adhesive film or wet dispersion adhesive. Panels must be clean and free from grease.
